Question:

55 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for Education and Science the plans he has to bring in regulations to prohibit the use of mobile phones during examinations; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2787/01]

The existing regulations prohibit the use of mobile phones, electronic address books, data bank etc., at the certificate examinations by both candidates and superintendents.
