Question:130 Mr. U. Burke asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands if she will respond to a person (details supplied) in County Galway regarding an appeal; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [3303/01]
Written Answers. - Special Areas of Conservation.
I am advised that the appeals board expect to be in a position to deal with this case in or about the month of March of this year. The landowner will be advised of the precise date as early as possible. The lands under appeal have not been included within the boundary of the candidate SAC, as advised to the Commission, pending the outcome of the appeal. I await the recommendation of the appeals board before making a final decision.
