Burke asked the Minister for Education and Science the situation in relation to the application by the board of management of Kilnadeema National School, Loughrea, County Galway to provide the extension and provision of additional facilities; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department is considering the most efficient and cost-effective way of providing appropriate long-term accommodation for Kilnadeema National School, Loughrea, County Galway.

The school authorities will be kept informed of developments.
