Question:

45 Mr. Barrett asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if his attention has been drawn to an interview undertaken by a retired senior member of the Garda Síochána in which he alleged that there is a serial killer on the loose who is responsible for a number of unsolved murders; if he has consulted with the Garda Commissioner concerning the nature of the investigation currently being undertaken to identify and prosecute the alleged serial killer for offences allegedly committed by him; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
