Question:

62 Mr. Healy asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the total Garda complement in each Garda station in south Tipperary in the year 1990; the current Garda complement; his proposals for community Garda schemes in south Tipperary; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3082/01]

I am informed by the Garda authorities, who are responsible for the detailed allocation of personnel to individual areas, that the manpower strength, all ranks, of each district in Tipperary division as at 31 December 1990 and 2000 is as set out hereunder:

In addition, there is a Garda special project in the Clonmel district.
The Deputy should be aware that Garda divisional boundaries do not correlate to county boundaries.
