Question:

83 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the percentage of the total cost of the beef tribunal that was paid out in respect of legal fees; if he will give a breakdown of claims in excess of £1 million by any claimant; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4280/01]

The total amount paid out to date in respect of the beef tribunal is £19,702,046.76. Of this, £15,733,641.69 is in respect of legal fees. This represents a percentage of 79.86%.

Details of claims in excess of £1 million by any one claimant are set out in the attached table.
