Question:

139 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands if her attention has been drawn to the historical and cultural significance of the castle, buildings and grounds at Donadea Forest Park, Donadea, County Kildare; if any consideration is being given to its possible restoration or refurbishment, with particular reference to potential use by future generations; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [5179/01]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 138 and 139 together.

I refer the Deputy to my reply of 4 October 2000 to Parliamentary Questions Nos. 184 and 185 and other previous replies. The position remains as outlined on that occasion. I have no record of any correspondence in recent times from the local community concerning this matter.

Question No. 140 answered with Question No. 135.
