Vol. 531 No. 1

Written Answers. - Irish Citizenship.

Eamon Gilmore

Question:

147 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the reason he has not replied to representations made on behalf of a person, details supplied, in County Dublin; when the case will be dealt with and a reply issued; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5039/01]

I am pleased to inform the Deputy that the person concerned has recently been informed that permission to remain on the basis of his parentage of an Irish born citizen child has been granted.
