29 Mr. Broughan asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands when the national heritage plan will be finalised; when she will bring proposals to Government; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [4976/01]

I refer the Deputy to my reply to Question No. 37 of 14 December 2000. My Department is currently finalising the preparation of the national heritage plan. I expect to bring the plan to Government before the end of March.
