Vol. 531 No. 4

Written Answers. - Health Services Funding.

Michael Finucane

Question:

165 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will ensure a financial contribution is made to a group (details supplied) in County Limerick; if his attention has been further drawn to the Mid-Western Health Board's negative response to the project despite an earlier commitment to the committee that funds would be made available in 2001; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6241/01]

As the Deputy is aware the provision of health services in Limerick is a matter for the Mid-Western Health Board. It is a matter for the board to determine the priority attached to developments from within its revenue and NDP funding allocations.
