Question:

201 Mr. Hayes asked the Minister for Education and Science if his Department will consider maintaining its lands at Kingswood Heights, Tallaght in Dublin 24; for local schools to use these lands as playing pitches; and if he will now enter discussions with South Dublin County Council in an effort to provide playing pitches on the lands in question. The site referred to by the Deputy was acquired by my Department for the provision of a second level school. No final decision in relation to such a school has been taken. Pending a final decision in that regard, it would be inappropriate to develop the site for any alternative use.
