Vol. 532 No. 3

Written Answers. - Hospital Waiting Lists.

Dan Neville

Question:

116 Mr. Neville asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will arrange that the South Infirmary Victoria Hospital, Cork, will carry out the surgical procedure for a person (details supplied) in County Limerick. [7263/01]

The Deputy will appreciate that the scheduling of admissions to hospitals is a matter for the relevant hospital concerned based on clinical priority. My Department has asked the chief executive at the South Infirmary Victoria Hospital to investigate the matter and reply to the Deputy directly as a matter of urgency.
