222 Mr. U. Burke asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the reason a REP scheme payment due for the past six months has not been made to a person (details supplied); if this payment will be made; if so, when; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7554/01]

Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development (Mr. Walsh):

There are no payments outstanding in this case. The person named commenced his participation in the REP scheme on 1 August 1998. He is, therefore, in his third year of participation in the scheme and his third year payment issued on 20 November 2000.
