Vol. 532 No. 4

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

Paul McGrath

Question:

258 Mr. McGrath asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the reason a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary has been refused installation aid; and the steps to be taken by this person to qualify for this grant aid. [8177/01]

The person named failed to lodge a complete application in Teagasc prior to the suspension of the scheme of installation aid on 7 August 1997. Accordingly, the application could not be processed under that scheme. In addition, the application cannot be considered under the national scheme of installation aid as the man work unit requirement of the holding exceeds the maximum allowable under the scheme.
