Vol. 532 No. 4

Written Answers. - Speech Therapy Service.

John McGuinness

Question:

325 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children the steps which are being taken to provide a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny with a speech therapist service at the School of the Holy Spirit, Kilkenny; if this service was stopped; and if so, the reason therefor. [7529/01]

As the provision of services to persons with an intellectual disability in the Kilkenny region is the responsibility of the South Eastern Health Board in the first instance, I have forwarded the Deputy's inquiry to the chief executive officer of the board for investigation and direct reply to him.
