Vol. 532 No. 4

Written Answers. - Hospital Services.

Breeda Moynihan-Cronin

Question:

332 Mrs. B. Moynihan-Cronin asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of procedures that are being carried out on a weekly basis at Tralee General Hospital, County Kerry, since September 2000 in the ear, nose and throat department, the gynaecology department, the orthopaedic department and the surgery department; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7594/01]

The provision of services in this instance is the statutory responsibility of the Southern Health Board. I have, therefore, asked the chief executive officer at the board to look into the issues raised by the Deputy and reply directly to her in this regard.
