415 Mr. Stanton asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the amount allocated to the Southern Health Board in 2000 under the housing aid for the elderly programme; the amount to be allocated for the next programme; when this allocation will be made; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister of State at the Department of the Environment and Local Government (Mr. Molloy):

A total of £765,000 for the operation of special housing aid for the elderly was allocated in 2000 to the Southern Health Board and an allocation of £1 million for 2001 was notified to the health board on 21 February.
