516 Mr. Foley asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will list, in respect of County Kerry for each of the years 1997, 1998, 1999 and 2000, the grants, projects or schemes funded by his Department, or any agency under the aegis of his Department; the receiving body or organisation; and the amount allocated in each instance. I am sure the Deputy will appreciate that my Department and the agencies associated with my Department cover a wide remit. As such, the following is a number of tables dealing with the various grant schemes available from my Department and the agencies associated with my Department.

The following tabular statement outlines the projects in County Kerry allocated funding under the equal opportunities childcare programme in the period 1997 to 2000. I should mention that the amounts shown are allocations – some groups may not yet have drawn down the amount allocated, particularly the groups allocated funding in 2000.

I can also inform the Deputy that, starting from 1998, the National Consultative Committee on Racism and Interculturalism administered a small grants fund to non-governmental organisations throughout the country undertaking anti-racism-interculturalism projects.
