639 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will arrange to have an independent transport grant made available to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny to a special school; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7804/01]

Minister for Education and Science (Dr. Woods):

I am pleased to inform the Deputy that my Department has sanctioned a transport grant in respect of private transport arrangements for the child in question.
