Vol. 533 No. 1

Written Answers. - Water and Sewerage Schemes.

Jimmy Deenihan

Question:

116 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government when he will allow Kerry County Council to go to tender for the Listowel regional water scheme, stage IV; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8359/01]

I recently approved the contract documents for the civil works element of this scheme and Kerry County Council may now seek tenders for these works. Contract documents for the pumping contract are under consideration in my Department and will be dealt with as quickly as possible.
