Question:151 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Education and Science the arrangements which have been put in place to maintain essential youth services in Donegal town; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8426/01]

My Department is aware of the current position regarding youth services in Donegal town. Arrangements have been agreed with County Donegal VEC for the continuation of the services until 30 April 2001. The matter will be reviewed in the light of developments in relation to the Peace II Programme.
