167 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number of gardaí in each Garda division acting as liaison officers with the Department of Education and Science; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [9190/01]

There are no formal arrangments in place for gardaí in individual divisions to act as liaison officers with the Department of Education and Science.

I am informed by the Garda authorities, who are responsible for the detailed allocation of personnel and resources to individual areas, that the number of members trained to deliver the Garda Síochána Schools Programme per division is as follows:
