Vol. 533 No. 5

Written Answers. - Speech Therapy Service.

Brian O'Shea

Question:

113 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Health and Children the proposals he has to provide speech and language therapy for a person (details supplied) in County Waterford; if he will provide professional instruction for the parents so that they can assist their daughter; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [9385/01]

As the provision of services to persons with an intellectual disability in the Waterford region is the responsibility of the South Eastern Health Board in the first instance, I have forwarded the inquiry to the chief executive officer of the board for investigation and direct reply to the Deputy.
