asked the Minister for Health and Children the discussions which he has had with the Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform regarding the provision of additional facilities for the treatment of prisoners at the County Hospital, Roscommon; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The question of the provision of facilities for prisoners at Roscommon County Hospital is a matter for the Western Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of that board to investigate the position in relation to this matter and to reply to the Deputy directly.
