266 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children the progress in finding a suitable home to care for a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; and if immediate action can be taken in the case in view of the age and medical history of the person. [9855/01]

Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin):

As the Deputy is aware, the provision of health services in Kilkenny is a matter for the South Eastern Health Board.

I have asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate this case and respond directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
