85 Mr. S. Ryan asked the Minister for Finance when he expects to conclude his consideration of the steering group report of the Committee of Public Accounts dealing with the Revenue Commissioners; if he has brought proposals to Government; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [9750/01]
As I indicated in my reply of 20 February to a question from Deputy Stagg, I am awaiting the outcome of the examination of the steering group report by the Committee of Public Accounts sub-committee on certain Revenue matters and when I have the findings of the sub-committee, I will consider them and make my proposals to Government. I understand the report of the sub-committee is expected to be published today and I intend to examine the recommendations as a matter of priority.
