The following table shows the total number of new apartments for which planning permission was granted for each full year from 1995 to 1999 and for the first half of the year 2000. The data for 1999 and the first half of 2000 are the result of a review of the data for these periods and corresponding square footage data are not available. Data on square footage will be available again from the last quarter of 2000.
