Question:

103 Mr. Dukes asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources the quantities of fish which were landed at Clogherhead, County Louth in the period between 1 October 1999 and 30 September 2000. [9506/01]

The Department's recorded landings data show that the quantities of fish landed at Clogherhead Pier, County Louth, in the period between 1 October, 1999 and 30 September, 2000 amounted to 1,190 tonnes, consisting of 225 tonnes of demersal species and 965 tonnes of shellfish. The demersal catch consists principally of cod, haddock, monk and plaice and the shellfish is principally made up of prawns.
