Vol. 534 No. 1

Written Answers. - Departmental Canteen Facilities.

Derek McDowell

Question:

132 Mr. McDowell asked the Minister for Finance the provisions which have been put in place in his Department's canteen to facilitate people with coeliac disease. [10112/01]

Provisions to facilitate people with coeliac disease are not the subject of central regulation. While I understand that there are no ongoing special provisions in the canteen facilities in my Department which are run on a franchise basis, I understand that such provisions can be the subject of an arrangement between the individual concerned and the management of the canteen facilities.
