181 Mr. Connaughton asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the position concerning the Kilconnell sewerage scheme, Kilconnell, Ballinasloe, County Galway and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10186/01]
This scheme has been approved for funding under the rural towns and villages initiative. A brief for the appointment of consultants to prepare a revised preliminary report was approved by my Department in December and the submission of the revised preliminary report by Galway County Council is now awaited.
