Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Neville – the report of the Internal Inquiry by the Mid-Western Health Board into the loss of blood and other samples which belonged to a family (details supplied); (2) Deputy Dukes – the resumption of artificial insemination services under properly controlled conditions; (3) Deputy O'Sullivan – the need for the Minister for the Environment and Local Government to clarify the responsibilities of the Environmental Protection Agency, local authorities and his Department, in cases where residents are concerned at the environmental impact of commercial activities in their areas; (4) Deputy O'Shea – the implications for the future of the post office network of the Flynn report; (5) Deputy Breeda Moynihan-Cronin – the need to provide 24 hour on-duty ambulance service out of Killarney Community Hospital; (6) Deputy Ó Caoláin – the need for the Minister for Education and Science to provide full funding for the new building to house Gaelscoil Róis, Carrickmacross, County Monaghan; (7) Deputy Clune – the need for the Minister for Health and Children to make a statement on the public concern surrounding the announcement by the VHI that it will no longer fully reimburse members in respect of charges at the Bon Secours Hospital, Cork; and (8) Deputy Coveney – the need to extend supports to satellite towns outside Cork City under the local drugs task force action plan.

The matters raised by Deputies Dukes, Neville, Moynihan-Cronin and Coveney have been selected for discussion.
