77 Mr. M. Higgins asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will give the most recent waiting lists for hospital procedures by speciality in each hospital; the average waiting time for each specialist; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [9987/01]

The total numbers on in-patient waiting lists by hospital and specialty at 31 December 2000, the latest date for which figures are available, are being communicated separately to the Deputy. The average waiting time by consultant is not routinely collected by my Department.
