83 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands the discussions she has had with other Departments regarding the Irish Actors Equity document, The Status of Performing Artists and their Role in the Life of a Nation; and if she will make a statement on the matter. A copy of the report The Status of the Performing Artists and their Role in the Life of a Nation has recently been received by officials in my Department. At this stage, therefore, I have not engaged in any discussions with other Ministers on this matter. I will arrange for the document to be fully examined as soon as possible.
