Question:

116 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if payment of a grant under the installation aid grant scheme can be made to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny if the co-owner of the lands signs an acknowledgement and disclaimer of any entitlement to the installation aid grant through her solicitor (details supplied).

As the person named was the registered owner of lands as a tenant in common with a person over 35 years of age at the date of set up, he is ineligible for aid under the scheme of installation aid. Accordingly, the proposal outlined by the Deputy would not change the position in relation to the to person's eligibility for the scheme.
