Question:223 Mr. B. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Education and Science if it is his intention to provide funding for a minibus for use by children with special needs at Scoil Triest, Glanmire, County Cork. [11195/01]

I understand that the school referred to by the Deputy has recently submitted an application to my Department for funding for the purchase of a minibus to cater for its community based programmes. The application in question is currently being considered and my Department will be in touch with the school authorities in relation to this matter.
