224 Mr. P. Carey asked the Minister for Education and Science if, in view of correspondence (details supplied) in relation to a person (details supplied) in Dublin 11, he will make additional resources available to this special class to cater for this child's specific needs. [11196/01]

Minister for Education and Science (Dr. Woods):

I have asked my Department's inspectorate to investigate the needs of the child in question with a view to ensuring that any special support services required are put in place as speedily as possible.
