Vol. 536 No. 3

Written Answers - Hospital Services.

Michael Ring

Question:

191 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will be called for a hip operation at Cappagh Hospital. [14259/01]

The provision of medical treatment is, in this instance, the statutory responsibility of the Western Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the position in relation to this case and reply to the Deputy directly.
