I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Ring – the position regarding an extension to a primary school (details supplied) in County Mayo; (2) Deputy Boylan – the doctor on call service; (3) Deputy Creed – the withdrawal of the educational disadvantage in primary schools programme from participating schools when the three-year cycle is complete; (4) Deputy Fleming – the delay in the construction of the Ballyroan sewerage scheme in County Laois; (5) Deputy Coveney – the need for a new Garda station and to improve facilities available to gardaí in Carrigaline, County Cork; (6) Deputy McGuinness – the need to establish new procedures in the compulsory purchase of land for road construction and to protect the rights of land owners and local communities; (7) Deputy O'Shea – the need for the Government to invest resources to save our architectural heritage; (8) Deputy Upton – the need to improve the occupational therapy services on offer to older people at a centre (details supplied); (9) Deputy Broughan – the need for a strategy to tackle poverty among one parent families; (10) Deputy Browne (Carlow-Kilkenny)– the delay in dealing with applications for pre-1953 pensions; (11) Deputy Hayes – the need to introduce a special package of measures at the earliest possible time to help schools in disadvantaged areas keep and attract teachers; (12) Deputy Dukes – the time restrictions applying to intra-farm and inter-farm movements of livestock under current foot and mouth disease precautions; (13) Deputy Healy – the need to give priority investment and job creation status to south Tipperary and to address the further fall in incomes in the county identified in recent CSO data; (14) Deputy McGrath – the difficulties in recruiting part-time firemen, particularly in rural areas, and the need to change the age limits for entry to and retirement from the service; (15) Deputy Stanton – the imminent sale of the assets of the Irish National Petroleum Corporation Limited ; (16) Deputy Jim Mitchell – the waiting lists for orthodontic dental treatment in the Dublin area which is effectively leading to a breakdown in the service; (17) Deputy McManus – the ongoing difficulties at St. Colmcille's Hospital, Loughlinstown, arising from the action taken by nursing staff in withdrawing out-of-hours cover for operating theatres; (18) Deputy Flanagan – the need to resolve the matter of FÁS school caretakers and assistants having their contracts exhausted leaving many schools without appropriate services; (19) Deputy Olivia Mitchell – the Government's attitude to, and plans for changes in its road tolling policy and (20) Deputy Enright – the need to revise guidelines and regulations governing the erection of telecommunications masts and antennae in residential areas.
