143 Mr. Connaughton asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the reason a REP scheme payment for 2000 has not been made to persons (details supplied) in County Galway; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14144/01]
The persons named completed their five year REPS contract on 31 July 2000. All payments appropriate to that contract were made. They then completed a transitional period in REPS from 1 August 2000 until 31 December 2000, when the transitional arrangements came to an end, and payment for this period issued on 29 November 2000.
