Vol. 536 No. 3

Written Answers - Grant Payments.

Alan M. Dukes

Question:

145 Mr. Dukes asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the reason for the delay in payment of a reactor compensation grant to a person (details supplied) in County Cork; and when it is expected that a payment will be made. [14191/01]

A brucellosis reactor grant of £5,600 was paid to the person concerned on 11 May 2001. The depopulation grant of £1,620 will be paid this week. In addition, an exceptional top up payment is currently being processed for payment by the local district veterinary office and will issue as soon as possible.
