95 Mr. S. Ryan asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will outline the main findings of the report from the former Secretary of Roinn na Gaeltachta (details supplied) into the review of the circumstances of the release of a prisoner from County Roscommon who was subsequently convicted of the murder of a woman while on day release; the changes to be made as a result of the report; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I can inform the Deputy that having considered Mr. Olden's report and his covering letter to me, I have asked the Director General of the Prison Service to clarify a number of issues. On receipt of the director general's response I will publish the report with a commentary on Mr. Olden's observations and recommendations.
