Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 which were received by the Ceann Comhairle, and this is a list of the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Hayes – the need to introduce a special package of measures at the earliest possible time to help schools in disadvantaged areas attract and retain teachers; (2) Deputy Michael Moynihan – the matter of group sewerage schemes and the necessity to increase the grant from £1,600 per person to £6,000, in line with the group water schemes; (3) Deputy Belton – the matter of staffing at the casualty unit in Longford hospital which now appears to represent a crisis; (4) Deputy Healy – the need for the construction of a new gaelscoil in Clonmel.

The matters raised by the following Deputies have been selected for discussion: Deputies Hayes, Healy, Belton and Michael Moynihan.
