Question:226 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for Education and Science the position in relation to an application for the provision of a teacher for a school (details supplied) in County Donegal; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16166/01]
I propose to take Questions Nos. 225 and 226 together.
I have recently received correspondence from the board of management of the school in question regarding an application for an additional teacher at the school for the 2001-02 school year. I have requested an inspector from my Department to examine the position and to report to me. Both the Deputies and the board of management will be advised of the position on receipt of the inspector's report.
