232 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary can receive the higher rate of extensification payment for 2000 in view of his circumstances. [16893/01]
The request of the person named to be considered for the concession applicable to farmers who had animals on their holdings in the period 15 October to 31 December 2000, which they could not sell because of marketing difficulties due to the BSE crisis, is being considered.
A decision will be conveyed to the person named as soon as possible.
