295 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason the Western Health Board has failed to fill the post of oral maxillo-facial surgeon almost a year after the post was approved by Comhairle na nOspidéal. [16568/01]

The appointment of an oral maxillo-facial surgeon is a matter for the Western Health Board in this instance. My Department has asked the chief executive officer to reply to the Deputy directly.
