319 Ms O'Sullivan asked the Minister for Health and Children if he has guidelines for health boards concerning the funding of tubing used to transfer special liquidised food which is pump-fed to patients; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16768/01]
The provision of feeding sets to medical cardholders and non-medical cardholders is a matter for the relevant health board.
My Department is not aware of any difficulties at present in relation to the provision of feeding sets. However, if the Deputy wishes to forward details of any instances where individuals have encountered difficulties, I will have further inquiries made.
