Vol. 537 No. 5

Written Answers. - Hospital Funding.

Gay Mitchell

Question:

340 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason funding has not been provided to operate the MRI scanner in Temple Street Hospital, Dublin 7; when he expects this machine to be operational; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16856/01]

Responsibility for the funding of services at the Children's Hospital, Temple Street, rests with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has therefore asked the regional chief executive of the authority to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.
