569 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will give an update on the request from a school (details supplied) in County Westmeath for additional accommodation; when this accommodation will be provided; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16869/01]

My Department has informed the board of management of the school referred to by the Deputy that funding has been approved for the provision of three additional temporary classrooms. The accommodation will be provided as quickly as possible.
