575 Mr. M. Higgins asked the Minister for Education and Science the current position in relation to the proposed extension to St. Colman's national school, Corofin, County Galway; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16908/01]

Architectural planning for the provision of improved accommodation at St. Colman's National School, Corofin, County Galway is progressing.

It is not possible at this point to give any indication as to the timetable for the provision of the accommodation.
