Vol. 538 No. 1

Written Answers. - Hospitals Building Programme.

Bernard Allen

Question:

166 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Health and Children if there have been discussions between his Department and the design team involved in the £12 million theatre development at Our Lady's Hospital, Dublin 12; and if the issues involved have been clarified to his satisfaction. [17360/01]

Officials from my Department and the Eastern Regional Health Authority are represented on the project team for this development. Meetings have taken place on a regular basis between representatives of my Department, Our Lady's Hospital for Sick Children, Crumlin and the design team regarding various issues in relation to the budget and technical specifications for the project. Discussions are ongoing and it is hoped to positively resolve all issues in relation to the development in the near future.
